The Calgary Chapter was started January 2017 to be a place for support for both girls and women affected by Turner Syndrome as well as families and parents of those affected. We have set up regular meetings and have participated in our first major fundraiser, the Buds & Butterflies Walk. We have also been fundraising by doing a bottle drive and have organized a Paint Nite in October and Silent Auction in November. To capitalize on our first year, we will be having a Christmas Potluck on December 9. In 2018, I envision doing monthly meet ups and organizing some more fundraisers. I have found the support of members to be wonderful and they are all so glad to have the group. We are at about 38 members and continue to grow.
